Funding Body: Work Cover Australia

Years: 2021

Work-Fit is a UQ-designed, workplace-delivered, 12-week high-intensity interval training (HIIT) program, led by an accredited exercise physiologist, who progresses participants from supervised to self-administered HIIT, with the objective of promoting exercise compliance and post-program maintenance.

Building on and complementing concurrent research conducted to test efficacy for heart health, this pilot project will aim to assess the impact Work-Fit has on driver’s musculoskeletal health and psychological wellbeing.
