The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences has a number of practicum placement courses which are delivered as part of our Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Honours), Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours), Bachelor of Health, Sport and Physical Education (Honours), and the Master of Dietetics Studies and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology programs.
Clinical and field education placement is an exciting and challenging experience for students where they test themselves in their chosen role, develop skills in a range of fields and engage in the application of academic learning in the practice environment. UQ Healthy Living
UQ Healthy Living is an interprofessional clinic promoting healthy ageing and wellbeing in older adults. The clinic provides assessments and interventions in exercise, diet and lifestyle tailored to meet the particular needs of older people. Students, under the supervision of leading practitioners in dietetics, exercise and sports science, clinical exercise physiology, among other disciplines, offer a range of individual and small group activities designed to promote healthy outcomes.
