At UQ School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences we are passionate about partnerships with industry and individuals.
It is these partnerships that ensure our scholars work on projects that meet the priorities of the community.
Our School has built a multitude of productive partnerships and projects with other universities, research institutes, public and private health and hospital providers, government and non-government organisations worldwide.
Sporting partners
We have built strong links with sporting organisations including the Broncos, the Firebirds, the Roar, Lifesaving Queensland, Swimming Australia, the Queensland Academy of Sport, the Australian Institute of Sport, and the Australian and International Paralympic Committees.
Education partners
We are committed to building productive partnerships with educational institutions ranging from the Department of Education and Training, the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority; as well as important schools in both the public and private sector.
Health partners
We collaborate closely with health partners locally, nationally, regionally and internationally including many prominent health institutions, organisations and businesses. These partnerships range from developing clinical expertise, practical skills, curriculum construction, coaching knowledge, health based practices, classification categories in Paralympic sport, and historical knowledge.
