Researcher biography
Suzanna Russell is a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland (UQ) in association with the Queensland Academy of Sport Performance Innovation and Knowledge Excellence unit and Netball Australia. Her PhD research is on mental fatigue in the elite sporting environment. Other areas of interests and previous research experience include; recovery, athlete wellness, physiology, and performance analysis, with a focus on high-performance team sports. In addition to her strong interest in applied sports science research Suzanna thoroughly enjoys teaching and mentoring undergraduate students with sessional lecturing and regular tutorial engagements.
