Higher Degree by Research (PhD or MPhil)

CRExPAH academic staff supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students working in a diverse range of disciplines including exercise, physical activity, health and wellbeing.

Interested in applying for research funding with CRExPAH? We often have fully-funded scholarships available through various grant schemes. The UQ Graduate School manages a number of national and international scholarship schemes that provide financial support for tuition fees, living costs and travel which enables you to focus on your research.

Undergraduate Research 

Winter Research Scholarships: The UQ Winter Research program is an opportunity for UQ undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students to become involved in exciting research within the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences for 4 to 6 weeks during the Winter vacation (June/July). Scholarships are available for selected students.

Summer Research Scholarships: The UQ Summer Research program is the opportunity for undergraduate and  postgraduate coursework students to get involved in exciting research project within the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences during the summer (November to February). Scholarships are available for selected students.

Honours Projects: Students completing an (Honours) program are required to undertake an individual research project in the area of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences to gain further experience in research. Students will acquire skills which will enable them to work without close supervision in a research environment in industry or government, or to proceed to a research higher degree.
