This project aims to explore the challenges and possibilities of ‘health-promoting school’ architectural designs.  It will do this by engaging health educators, health behaviour researchers, architects, students, teachers, principals and other stakeholders in generating knowledge about how and why schools are currently designed as they are, and how the built schooling environment might be better oriented towards promoting student health.

The scoping review for this project has been funded by the Centre for Sport and Society.
