  • UQ is ranked 1st in Australia and 2nd in the world according to the University Ranking by Academic Performance (2017-2018)  in the field of Human Movement and Sports Sciences.
  • UQ is ranked 1st in Australia and 2nd in the world according to the QS World University Rankings of Academic Performance  (2019) in the field of Sports-Related Subjects.
  • The UQ School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences is ranked 2nd in Australia, and 5th in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (2018) for Sport Science Schools and Departments.
  • Research undertaken in the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences has contributed to UQ 2018 ARC Excellence in Research for Australia ranking. Research has received a ranking of 5 (“well above”) or 4 (“above world standard”) in the following research fields
