Researcher biography
Caroline completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at University of Queensland in 2006. During her many years as a senior oncology physiotherapist and lymphoedema therapist in both the UK and Brisbane, she has seen firsthand the many benefits of exercise during and after cancer therapy.
In her current role as Lead Oncology and Palliative Care Physiotherapist at The Wesley Hospital, Brisbane she delivers physical activity and rehabilitation to patients throughout all stages of their oncology treatment and through research she hopes to improve awareness of these benefits. Her current research is focused on the effect of exercise on women post treatment for gynaecological cancer.
