Researcher biography
Luke completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Hons.) in 2019 at The University of Queensland. He has employed his interest in biomechanics to fundamental and applied settings. His PhD focuses on how human movement control and energetics change under constrained conditions; while he has previously worked with Cricket Australia to uncover performance and injury factors in elite fast bowlers. He hopes that his PhD will lead to more accurate models for predicting mechanics and energetics during locomotion.
