
Researcher biography
Iain is an RHD student from the UK, and is currently working on his PhD which aims to evaluate the clinical effects of performance-focused swimming training for people with cerebral palsy who have high support needs. His main interests are in increasing participation and enhancing performance in para sport, and his research focuses on quantifying the therapeutic value of sports participation for people with moderate-severe disabilities. He is also involved in classification for para athletics. Iain also works clinically as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and has a background in sports injury prevention and rehabilitation.
